Modified
Grind Bowl Gouge
The
corners are ground much further back than on a standard bowl gouge,
with the cutting edge nearly blending in with the flute. The increased
length of the cutting edge makes a tool that can take a very large
cut and requires considerable motor power, as well as skill nand
experience on the part of the turner. Not recommended for beginners.
